“This Company Rents Out High-End Trailers For Camping and Corporate Events” in Entrepreneur Magazine‘s April 2014 edition:
[LIVMOBIL] has sent Airstreams out for everything from camping trips and guest housing for weddings to hipsters looking for a backdrop for stylish selfies. They’ve also been used at Burning Man, the counterculture festival that takes place each summer in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert. (by Margaret Littman. Shared by RV Daily Report.)
Road Trip in 5280 Magazine‘s July 2014 edition:
Although Airstream trailers have been around for nearly a century, their recent spike in visibility (thank you, Grey’s Anatomy) has spawned a robust rental market. Denverite Bill Ward is reaping the benefits of the craze—by accident. The 40-year-old Ward, an avid traveler, bought his first Airstream for $2,700 three years ago. Immediately, his friends and his father offered to pay to use it. A self-described “serial entrepreneur,” Ward saw an opportunity and created Living Airstream, a Denver-based company that rents vintage and newer models to people from around the world. (Prices start at $175 per night.) The idea took off: Sales grew by more than 300 percent within the first two years and continue to climb. Today, Living Airstream boasts a fleet of nearly two dozen trailers and offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Scottsdale, Arizona, and Ward’s budget now allows him to stay in pricey hotel rooms. He says he still prefers an Airstream, though. (by Michelle Johnson)
Hotel on Wheels (Best Silver Convoy) in San Francisco Magazine‘s (Best of SF) July 2014 edition:
Smart cars might be great for finding parking, but for a road trip? No, thanks. Enter [LIVMOBIL], a fleet of the silver bullets that arrived in the Bay Area this spring, drawn by a demand for Burning Man caravans, wine tours, coastal road trips, and retro-inspired weddings. Each of the 22 new and vintage trailers is unique, sleeps three to eight adults, and is equipped with a kitchen, a sink, a bathroom, and heating. Your own hotel in a tube can be picked up at the company’s Treasure Island facility.

Ski Curbed June 2014
When it comes to planning a summer vacation in ski country, the options are overwhelming and often pretty pricey. You can fork it over to one of our 38 Essential Hotels, rent a standard style ski home or even book an estate on Airbnb. Usually the biggest question though: where the hell do we go? Why not mix it up this year and road trip it to more than just one mountain town? The Denver-based Living Airstream offers nightly, weekly or monthly rentals of the timeless travel trailers.
Over the past two years, owner Bill Ward has crisscrossed the country in search of the vintage aluminum campers to fully restore for rental. He’s amassed an inventory of over 20 Airstreams with models from as early as 1962 to as new as 2011. And if you don’t have a car that can carry the weight, tow vehicle rental options include a Toyota Tacoma, Ford F350, Ford Excursion or Dodge Durango. Just please don’t be seen carting a “silver bullet” through the Rockies on a Range Rover or Porsche Cayenne – both of which are also available.
Airstream Hotels by Sunset Magazine in May 2013
It’s not a hotel, but the father-son -owned Airstream rental and delivery give you a taste of trailer life. Just tell them where you’ll be, and show up to a trailer stocked with whatever you like, no towing involved. The trailers are no-frills, with vintage appliances and old school-style drapes, but that’s what makes these silver bullets such a throwback. (Lauren Neuschel)
Happy Glampers Part One: Camp Chic in a “Love Bubble” Airstream in 303 Magazine, May 2013
Transportable, Airstreams offer the amenities of a hotel in combination with traditional camping charms without the sticker shock. Complete with ovens, stoves, refrigerators, sinks, three-piece bathrooms and anything else your hipster heart desires, Airstreams are miniature homes on wheels.
If you are looking to commit to being an Airstreamer, Ward also designs and restores all years, sizes and models for any use, price point or aesthetic vision. Living Airstream will also clean, polish and buff your treasured “Love Bubble,” too.
